Cookie Policy

Last updated: April 18, 2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site function properly, remember your preferences, and provide analytics.

2. Cookies we use

Essential cookies (required)

These cookies are necessary for the Service to function. They cannot be disabled.

  • Session cookie — maintains your authentication state after sign-in. Persists across browser sessions using a secure JWT token.
  • CSRF token — protects against cross-site request forgery attacks.

Functional cookies (optional)

These cookies remember your preferences to improve your experience.

  • localStorage cache — caches employee data, department tree, holidays, and user settings locally for faster page loads. TTL: 5 minutes to 1 hour depending on data type. No personal data is sent to third parties.
  • Theme preferences — remembers your display settings.

Third-party cookies

  • Stripe — used during checkout for payment processing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Slack/Google OAuth — set during SSO sign-in flow. We do not control these cookies.

3. What we do NOT use

  • No advertising or tracking cookies.
  • No analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.).
  • No social media tracking pixels.
  • No cross-site profiling or behavioral targeting.

4. Managing cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in to DTPulse. Clearing localStorage will reset cached data (it will be re-fetched on next visit).
